There are gravel bars and shelves at approx. 2 foot deep, dropping to 6 foot deep in the occasional hole or basin, with the majority of the lake staying at a depth of 3 foot. The Shallow Lake is a picturesque lake with mature bank sides, two small islands, large Norfolk reed beds and a number of large clumps of white lily pads. This habitat all lies within 1.5 acres of spring fed water creating perfect living conditions for some of our better specimen fish.
