In 2025 we purchased a Neptune Rake to combat the weed in our waters. This is a large aluminium rake which gets launched from its float to dive down to the bottom of the lake and then is winched in by a motor which is secured on the bank side. 

This will help keep the waters open in the summer when the weed is at its thickest.
